Yesterday's key metrics

Forgot to take a picture, but we covered 50.5 km and had plenty of time for stops.

We avoided most of the climbs on the way to Saumur - with us all feeling the weight of our luggage - and just had to contend with a couple as we left the city. Here the experience gained in the first week really payed off, marred only slightly when Astrid's chain came off the rear sprocket a couple of times. The rear derailleur needs a little adjustment to stop this happening again.

We had a brief bit of rain due to low cloud before the weather started to improve again.

A lovely meal in the local restaurant rounded off a pretty good day!😀
