The curse of the coffee machine

Not only is the apartment in Blois exactly as expected, it also has a Senseo coffee machine!😁

Except after the first coffee it refuses to open again. 🤬 It was difficult to get to close in the first place so that suspect there may be something stuck in it already.

Kerstin quickly searches the internet for suggestions and apparently there is a known issue with this version due to excess pressure. This can be fixed by opening the machine and releasing one of the tubes. Tools required: T4 torx, flathead screwdriver and pliers; all of which we have.

Twenty minutes later we have managed to open the machine release the clamps, and releasing one of the tubes. But this doesn't solve the problem. Not wanting to risk breaking the machine, I put it back together and let our landlords know.

Fortunately, while I was out getting breakfast this morning I was also able to get fresh coffee! So all is well with the world! 😃
